In conjunction with the East Lancashire Railway we are looking at a possible Railcam UK day at the ELR. This would involve the exclusive use of a heritage DMU for up to three round trips on the line, initially and the potential to visit the Network Rail boundary at Hopwood and Baron Street Depot. At this stage we are gauging interest. Please register your interest on the Facebook post or email contact@railcam.uk with the subject line ELR-Railcam day 2025 and your username in the message area Click Here

Our cameras

Main-line

We have a wide range of cameras throughout the UK and beyond

In the UK, we have around 100 cameras, covering major railway locations such as Crewe and Peterborough, scenic locations like the Settle & Carlisle Line, plus many other spots around the network.

Our cameras have something for everyone from freight hotspots to busy commuter lines and popular routes for railtours.

Heritage railways

Railcam works in partnership with many of the UK's most popular heritage railways, including the Severn Valley, East Lancs, Swanage, West Somerset and Nene Valley Railways. We also have cameras on a number of narrow-gauge lines, including the Talyllyn and Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Railways

International

Further afield, we also carry a number of non-UK cameras, including a number from our friends at Virtual Railfan in the USA.
